Manicures

Regular, French, gel and dip powder. A standard manicure runs 30 to 45 minutes. Gel polish holds two to three weeks without chipping, dip powder holds longer and takes the same chair time.

Four levels, from the basic spa pedicure up to the Volcano. Every one starts with a fresh disposable tub liner. Basic runs about 30 minutes, the Ultra and Volcano run closer to an hour.

Full sets and artificial nails

Acrylic full sets, pink and white, sculpture, overlay, UV gel and white tip. Pointed and coffin shaping is $5 on top of any set. Expect 60 to 90 minutes for a full set.

The same family, the same corner, since before the plaza looked like this.

Expression Nails & Spa has been on W Hillsborough Ave for over twenty years. In that time the strip has changed hands more than once and we have not moved.

Most of what we do is manicures, pedicures and waxing. What keeps people booking is smaller than that. Someone notices your nails grow out fast and books you at two weeks instead of three. Someone hands you a drink before you ask. You get the tech you like, not whoever is free.

We are a family business, and the salon runs the way a family room runs. That is the whole pitch.
